Synopsis

I decided to do 5-ish good deeds this week without intentionally doing them just to sort of see how kind I am on a daily basis lol The first thing I did was help out student council for the PH Classic last week. Then, I took some photos and in general was pretty nice at the football game that night. Thirdly, I did something confidential (I can talk about it the week after I wrote this), then I helped some people out at work a few nights ago, and lastly I did a whole bunch of little acts sprinkled in there, like holding the door for people, saying hi, giving high-fives, etc. They all had something in common. They made both who I did the deed for, and myself feel good. Even if it takes away something from yourself, like time, etc; it's always worth it. The bigger the deeds, the better it generally made me feel, and the same for the recipient.  I can definitely say that I do a few good deeds per few days after this. Definitely meets my expectations:)

Good Deed(s) #5

I decided to make this last one a little synopsis of all of the little thing that I've done for people in the last week. For example, one morning I held the door for Mr. Byron when I got to school at 8:00 in the morning. I also allowed James H to steal my seat in law because I was nice. In French, I also volunteered to do my French assignment basically all over again because I wanted to help Alyssa who was absent. Something just as simple as high-fiving people in the hallways which happens all the time, it makes me feel good. It makes the others feel good as well. In general with all of these good deeds, it boosts my day and gives me a sense of purpose; something to strive for every single day.

Good Deed #4

I work at NoFrills and good deeds happen there all the time but I don't want to be cheesy and use all five from here so I will use one. One lady last night came to me and asked for "Shake n' Bake". You probably know what that is but if not it's basically breadcrumb coating & recipes for children. I did not have to do this but I decided to stop what I was doing and find it for her. When I did (it's in Aisle 7 btw) she gave me a massive thank you and that felt really good for some reason, more than usual. I don't have a photo since I can't use my phone on duty lol

Good Deed #3 (DO NOT SHARE RN)

Basically, this one is a little bit different. I can't publicly talk about this one right now but I can next week. Basically I spent $75 on a gift card for someone's birthday over the long weekend but since technically no one knows I did this atm, I haven't gotten a reaction for the deed yet. I felt damn good doing it though :) I think it'll be awesome

Good Deed #2

Also on the same day, Ms. Melo-Jordan would know this but I took some photos for people at Richardson on Thursday evening, most notably of her family and I got some cool photos of the game to share with other people. I felt super good and useful taking the photos for others and I think Ms. Melo-Jordan felt good too lol; it was packed that night.

Good Deed #1

The first thing that I would consider to be a "good" deed was when I volunteered to use the spotlight for the intro to the Senior game of the PH Classic. It definitely made me feel good that I was in this crucial role and despite a couple hiccups it made others feel good too :) I got a text after the day was said and done thanking me which definitely validated my feelings :)
